IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING 3D-SECURE (verified by Visa, Mastercard and SecureCode)
Please note that it is a now a requirement from participating credit/debit card issuers that 3D-Secure is implemented on ALL internet retail sites in the UK.
What does this mean for you?
If your card issuer is part of the 3D-Secure scheme this is what you do...
After submitting your credit card details you will be shown a 3D-Secure page which will either ask you for the password you have already set up for your card with your card issuer, along with some other security details. The system will use this information to verify it is your card and you are authorised to use it.
OR if you have NOT YET registered your card with 3D-Secure you will be asked to do so - it only takes a few minutes and once this step is completed successfully you won't have to do it again.
Please note that the 3D-Secure system is separate from DeadGoodUndies and we will NEVER see the password or security details for your card so it is completely safe to enter this information.
As Visa, Mastercard/Maestro have not advertised this new payment requirement very well a lot of people are concerned about placing orders because it is unfamiliar you might suspect it is a credit card phishing attempt. It is NOT.
Please rest assured the system is designed for your protection and the more you shop on the internet the more you will become familiar with this new security procedure.
The best way to think about it is that it is "chip 'n'pin" for online retail (remember how much confusion that caused in the high street???)
